Khaleej Times today had this article. Anyone know which schools they're referring to?

ABU DHABI — Seven private schools, which were run from villas, have shifted to new buildings suitable for schools, according to a senior official at the Abu Dhabi Education Zone (ADEZ).

Mohammad Salim Al Dhahiri, Director-General of ADEZ, told Khaleej Times recently, “The owners have moved their schools to buildings which meet the standards set by the Ministry of Education (MoE).

“The owners have to know that the schools are not a project. They must provide buildings that are safe for the children.”

As per the standards, the school buildings should be structured in a way that ensures the health and safety of the students and must have languages and science labs. They must also have recreation facilities like playgrounds and music rooms.

An informed source at MoE, who did not want to be named, said the ministry would not give any more grace period for the schools functioning from villas to shift to proper buildings.

About 75 schools being run from villas must shift to standard buildings during this academic year (2007-08) and the next year (2008-09). The source said the schools which did not abide by the ministry’s decision would be closed down.
