  • Property name: The Palisades, a large Victorian / Georgian / Edwardian / old-fashioned community in Dubai Investments Park. The community includes a school and hospital, in addition to the usual collection of villas, townhouses, apartments, commercial offices, and shopping malls.

  • Project value: AED 15 billion (initial press release Nov 2006 said AED 8-10 billion)
  • Area (size): 15 million sq feet (initial press release Nov 2006 said 5 million sq ft, 138 hectares in Mar 2007 PR)

Other facilities and information

The Palisades will be styled in the "Georgian, Regency, and Victorian" era according to their brochure, housing a population of 55,000 when complete. A third of the area is intended to be parks, trails, and other pleasant green spaces. Palisades development was launched (meaning there was a party but no movement of sand) in November 2006.

In general, for all UAE property developments, information given here is usually based on information supplied from press releases, media reports, company marketing, and may not be independently confirmed. Unit sizes are unlikely to be vastly different but layout and design could change. Actual completion date could be months or even years later than promised delivery dates.
