Murdoch University is an Australian institute based in Murdoch (now there's a surprise), south of Perth. They will apparently open a branch in International Academic City Dubai (but their website says Dubai Knowledge Village) with courses being offered from September 2008. Full name of the new institute will be Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai. There are 3 other international study center branches of Murdoch University in Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. Will the acronym be MUD?

MU in Australia has been awarded the top spot for graduate satisfaction in the 2008 Good Universities Guide in 12 out of the past 13 years according to them. Presumably that's an Australian guide?

Professor Gary Martin, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Murdoch University Australia, was at the Metropolitan Hotel on 04 March 2008 to talk to prospective parents and students. If anyone knows what he said, please reply here ...

Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai currently holds temporary office at Dubai Knowledge Village (Block 3, First Floor, Executive Office No. 9) until the construction works at the Dubai International Academic City campus have been finished.

The university is also holding an Open Evening in June for interested students and parents:
