Fatboy Slim is otherwise known as Norman Cook. There were 260,000 people at a free party on Brighton Beach where he DJed in 2003. Expect the Barasti Bar to be absolutely jammed - a small venue like that seems an odd choice for someone as big as Fatboy Slim, unless they're spreading out on the beach also.
Fatboy Slim was scheduled for a concert in Dubai threee years ago on 05 January 2006 at the Dubai International Convention Center (a much larger venue than the Barasti Bar), which would have been his first appearance, but the show was cancelled after the death of the ruler of Dubai at the time, Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum on 04 January 2006.
