2009 sees a new pontoon jutting out there - the Superyacht Pavilion. Companies setting up their lemonade stands there will include Abeking & Rasmussen, Amels, Burger Boats, Feadship, Heesen, Lurssen Yachts, Trinity Yachts, and a collection of big boats from Banna, Benetti, CRN, Gulf Craft, Rodriquez, Sunseeker, Westport.
Dive Middle East Exhibition (DMEX) 2009 will be held in conjunction with DIBS, with diving demonstrations from the Emirates Diving Association, and a diving pool where visitors can go for a test dive.
