The Sharjah International Art Biennial is a large and popular international contemporary art event held, as you might guess, every two years in the Sharjah Expo Centre. The first event was in 1993. More recent events were:

2005 (06 April - 06 June) - the Sharjah Art Biennial had displays of 70 artists from 36 different countries.
