Ramadan UAE - DubaiFAQs guide

Add your replies here with information or questions :). For example:

Ramadan events that are worth attending (Qanat Al Qasbah in Sharjah, or Sheikh Zayed Mosque tours in Abu Dhabi for example)?
The best Iftar buffet locations (with prices)?
Shopping center opening hours (if different from usual - some stay open until midnight or later)?
Restaurant and cafe locations which serve food during the day (dine in or takeout)?

  • Most large hotels in Dubai will have room service and/or one dine-in establishment during Ramadan. Maybe Abu Dhabi?
  • A few of the larger shopping centers in Dubai will have one or two places with takeaway meals or dine-in.
  • I just saw a sign at Le Pain Quotidien at The Dubai Mall for example - takeaway food from 10am-7pm, dine-in from 7pm-1am (seems to imply The Dubai Mall will be open later than its usual 10pm/midnight closing time?).
  • Burger King on Jumeirah Beach Road has been open for takeaway in previous years. Don't know about this year.

Any others?
