Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) University is a private university established in February 2006 to provide aviation and aerospace courses, and is one of six Dubai Aerospace Enterprises subsidiary companies. First courses were launched in October 2006. DAEU expects to have up to 6,500 students by 2020 in programs designed to produce aerospace industry personnel that can move into one of the DAE subsidiaries, which are:
- DAE Capital (aircraft leasing and finance)
- DAE Engineering (maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft)
- DAE Manufacturing (airframe or engine original equipment manufacturer)
- DAE Airports (design, build, and operate airports)
- DAE Services (application systems provider and technology incubator/accelerator in aviation and aerospace)
