International School of Arts and Sciences reviews

Postby shawarma » 03 Dec 2007, 15:22

International School of Arts and Sciences Al Warqa (ISAS) - information page.

ISAS Dubai is opening September 2007 according to the Khaleej Times 04 June 2007 (article probably based on a press release). ISAS will be in Al Warqa'a (Al Waarqa, Al Warqaa), will follow the American curriculum, opening for about 200 students from KG to grade VI in the first year, growing to 1200 students and higher grades by the fifth year (year 2012?). ISAS is owned by Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), who also own the Al Mawakab Barsha school and Al Mawakeb Garhood school.

Registration for new students starts 15 May 2007 according to the ISAS website:

Sunday to Wednesday from 08:00 to 16:30
Thursday and Saturday from 08:00 to 14:00

No information found on qualifications to be offered. If US curriculum then presumably US High School diploma, SAT, and/or AP?

Some school details are wrong

Postby yorgo70 » 26 Mar 2009, 10:25

The phone number, fax number and email are listed wrong on the site.
They should be changed as follows:
1. phone is 04 2800459 not 04 3417788
2. fax is 04 2800439 not 04 3417878
3. email is info@isas.sch.ae not info@amsi.ae

Thanks
