Update about Uptown School. They will be (or are already) offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) and Middle Year Programme (IBMYP), a popular and well respected choice for students in international schools.

Uptown School / Primary School hosted an IB PYP / IBPYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) from 22-25 March 2007. See the IBO website for details (www.ibo.org/events/pypduba07/).

Uptown Primary School is now just Uptown School according to the Taaleem website (the owner of Uptown School). Taaleem is the new name for Beacon Education / Madaares, which own the Uptown School, although the Taalem website still says they're called Beacon Education (at least, it did today when I checked).

There's now also an Uptown High School (forum topic) or see the Uptown High School information on DubaiFAQ.
