Abu Dhabi University introduces dual MBA degree
The agreement offers MBA students at ADU the opportunity to earn a second MBA degree in International Business from (ENPC) Paris
To build on its success and to provide its students with a global management perspective and access to international institutions, ADU has signed a collaboration agreement with a prestigious “Grande Ecole” in Paris: Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) Paris.
The agreement offers the MBA students at ADU the opportunity to earn a second MBA degree in International Business from (ENPC). Students joining the MBA program at ADU will be able to earn two degrees: a general MBA degree from ADU and a specialized MBA degree from ENPC Paris.
The agreement has been signed by Excellency Ali Bin Harmel Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Executive Board of Governors, and Dr. Philippe Courtier the Director of the ENPC. Dr. Tawfik Jelassi, the Dean of the Business School at ENPC, and Dr. Mohamed Khalifa the Provost of ADU, attended the signing of the agreement.
“One year after its launch, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Abu Dhabi University is enjoying great success. It has attracted over 75 experienced business professionals holding prominent managerial positions in leading firms in UAE and the region. Abu Dhabi University is committed to developing a wide network of partnerships with prestigious educational institutions worldwide. This partnership will contribute further to the University’s global presence” said his Excellency Ali Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri.
“Throughout its 260 year history, the ENPC has demonstrated its research and teaching excellence in several disciplines as well as its strong contribution to the economic and social development in France and internationally. Today’s partnership with Abu Dhabi University is a significant addition to the ENPC’s worldwide network of partner organizations and a first step towards a fuller cooperation between two academic institutions in Europe and in the Gulf region” added Dr. Philippe Courtier, Director of the ENPC.
“This agreement will provide MBA students at Abu Dhabi University with an enhanced value proposition. In addition to earning a locally accredited degree from ADU, students opting for the dual degree program will also earn an internationally accredited degree from the prestigious ENPC benefiting from a world class faculty, and the ENPC MBA programs in Paris, Shanghai, Casablanca, Philadelphia and Edinburgh. This joint MBA program will be a unique experience for managers and businessmen”, commented Dr. Mohamed Khalifa.
