Visa for new born in Abu Dhabi

Dear All,

May i ask for the procedures for applying visa for a new born baby here in Abu Dhabi?

I am expecting my baby this July and i would like to have an idea of what to do and where to go

I guess it would be similar to the procedure for getting a visa for a baby born in Dubai.

Presumably something like:

Get birth certificate from official birth certificate producing hospital.
Get birth certificate attested at AUH Ministry of Health (or HAAD?), maybe somewhere else also.
Go to your embassy in Abu Dhabi and apply for passport.
With new passport, salary certificate (yours), employer details, etc, go to Abu Dhabi residence department and sponsor your new sprog .
