Ajman University opens doors to students for the Fall Semester 2007

Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) registration opens for the Fall Semester 2007.

Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) is recognized as one of the region's largest, most comprehensive, high-standard institutions which couples science with marketable skills.

AUST offers all the experiences of a large college campus, yet embodies a community approach as its faculty members work closely with students both inside and outside the classroom.

Through its Continuing Education Center, it is positioned as a training university which offers international standard certificate programs, enjoying tremendous academic strengths with credentials accredited by western associations and organizations.

The prime highly populated, low trafficked location in the north of the Emirates and on the border of the Arabian Gulf makes AUST the destination for a diversity of students from all over the Region.

By virtue of an Emiri Decree, issued by H. H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and The Ruler of Ajman, Ajman University of Science and Technology was established in 1988 in Ajman as a new institution offering quality higher education programs for UAE nationals and expatriates.

In 1996, under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al- Nahyan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, AUST was the main initiator of the establishment of the Association of Arab Private Institutions for Higher Education. In 1998, and in cooperation with UNESCO, AUST established the Euro-Arab Research Network.

Dr. Ahmed Ankeet, Vice President External Relations and Cultural Affairs of Ajman University of Science and Technology says 'The first year at college is a time of many transitions. AUST offers a range of programs for students to choose from, programs that support the exploration and immersion in the campus culture.
