The Dubai World Cup 2008 date is set for Saturday 29 March 2008, announced in a press release 09 August 2007. There are a total of 49 events hosted by the 4 UAE racing clubs - Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Dubai Racing Club, Jebel Ali Racecourse, and Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club.
- Winter Racing Challenge consists of the first 10 events, starting at the Nad Al Sheba race track on Thursday 08 November 2007 with the season opening race.
- Dubai International Racing Carnival (DIRC) consists of the next 10 fixtures, starting on Thursday 17 January 2008, with the first rounds of the Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum Challenge.
- UAE Oaks meeting on Thursday 06 March 2008 is the final event in the DIRC series
- Jebel Ali Racecourse will have 10 weekly meetings starting on Friday 23 November 2007
- Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club will have 15 fixtures, starting on Sunday 11 November 2007
- Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club will host 3 meetings on Saturdays, starting 15 December 2007
