Al Raha Gardens School - Dubaifaqs.com information

There is at least one new school scheduled to be opened in Al Raha Gardens September 2008 by Aldar Academies, but name of school not known. Possible names seen include

Al Raha School
Al Raha Garden School or Al Raha Gardens School
Garden Island Academy, Garden Islands Academy, (or Gardens Island Academy?)

Aldar Properties, the developer of Al Raha Gardens, say on their website that there will be 3 schools and a kindergarten.

Raha International School (RIS) is run by by Beacon Education and is already open.

So it could be that there will be one new school operated by Aldar Academies, and another one by Beacon Education. Anyone have any further information?

Pearl Primary School (previously known as Aldar Island Academy) is run by Aldar Academies and opened September 2007, but is in the middle of Abu Dhabi near the HCT Women's College.

28 August 2007 - previous information, removed from DubaiFAQs page as out of date now

School expected to open by 2008. Contact details are for Beacon Education in Dubai, not the school. Not the same as Raha International School, although it is also managed by Beacon Education. There is another school scheduled to open in Al Raha Gardens in September 2008 (possibly called Garden Island Academy) to be run by Aldar Academies. Maybe the two schools are one and the same. No further details found so far.

Please reply here if you have further information about this school. Thanks :).

Al Raha Gardens School

New school is called Al Yasmina School - run by Aldar Academies. More information and new forum topic on the Dubai FAQs page. So far there's 2 schools in Al Raha Gardens then. Is that correct? The Al Raha Gardens website says there will be a kindergarten also, and contrary to what they say, there is one IB school, and one UK National Curriculum (NC) school. This from the website FAQs ...

What kind of schools will be available in Al Raha Gardens?

Kindergarten and two schools offering (IB) high school education.
