Free tennis courts not in Dubai

Postby miguelitop on 03 Dec 2007, 19:41

I really don't know why Dubai Municipality keeps on turning a blind eye on the lack of tennis courts in Dubai, considering the huge number of tennis-playing expats. As of this day, the only free tennis court in Dubai can be found at Satwa Park, behind Kentucky Shk Zayed. It is now an overcrowded court as the group playing at Safa Park has been relocated here. safa is now a private tennis academy, you get to play there paying 50/hour. Zabeel is one example of a large park without a tennis court.Private membership clubs won't work all the time for tenis players, as it is is usless to be a member when you dont find somebody to play with inside the healthclubs. If you are an expat who loves tennis, you can visit us at www.duet.net.tc and you can post also your reaction to this matter.

School tennis courts?

Some schools have tennis courts. Is it possible to try and arrange something with one near you?
Please use the forum for questions, not the PM system.
