Singapore is the fifth Asian destination for Etihad. Other destinations are Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, which were launched in January 2007.
Brisbane is the second Etihad destination in Australia. Sydney was the first destination, launched in March 2007.
