Philippines National School PNS

Postby shawarma on 06 Jan 2008, 00:26

Philippine National School (PNS) - dubaifaqs.com information. Students are called PNSians (try and say that without sounding like you're swearing  ).

Was in the news in 2005 for being in violation of several Ministry of Education requirements. Standard of teaching and management was also criticised, and there was a scrap between teachers and management. How did that all get resolved? What's it like now?

Geronimo Obaob was Principal in 2003. When did it change to Dr. Ofelia F. Padilla (current principal according to website)? Both Mr Obaob and Dr Padilla have appeared as heads of the PISCO Private School, also in Abu Dhabi. Dr Padilla in 1995 for just a month, and Mr Obaob since then. Is there more than one Dr Padilla or Mr Obaob  ?

Any other comments? Questions? Any answers to these questions?

What's it like to teach there?
What's it like to study there?
What are the fees for students?
What are the teacher salaries?
How many students are there (guessing 700 since 2006-7 was 675 and 2005-6 was 650)?

Philippines National School email address

Hello dagohoi and welcome to the UAE forums :).

If there's an email address, it should be given in the Philippine National School information. I just checked the PNS website also and they don't have one listed. Sometimes schools and other organisations don't use email, or don't make it publicly available.
