- What? Dubai Shopping Festival Night Souk 2008. First one was in 2003. Shops staying open late to sell you more stuff, but in an interesting location along Dubai Creek - go after midnight to avoid the traffic. Bring some warm clothes late at night. Dubai can get cool enough in the winter (especially in 2008 it seems). There are also restaurants and entertainment (jugglers, flame throwers, that kind of thing)

As it's a "souk", you're expected to bargain. The promotional bumpf says that retailer conditions of participation are that goods should be sold either at cost price or wholesale price - which makes you wonder about the point of bargaining.
