List of Parks in Dubai

  • Al Tawar / Al Twar Park - small
  • Al Wasl Park
  • Creek Park - along Dubai Creek on the Bur Dubai side between the Garhood Bridge and Maktoum Bridge. Has a gondala ride.
  • Jumeirah Beach Park
  • Jumeirah Open Beach (Moscow Beach)
  • Mamzar Park / Al Mumzar Park - on the coast just before Sharjah, sheltered swimming bays
  • Mushrif Park - inland after Mirdiff, very large, possible new Dubai Zoo site (but probably not), has a quaint model global village of some sort.
  • Nad Shamma Park - small
  • Naif Park, Deira - small
  • Rashidiya Park - small
  • Safa Park - large park at interchange 2 on Sheikh Zayed Road
  • Umm Suqeim Park - small park at beach near Burj Al Arab
  • Zabeel Park - inland near World Trade Center

More parks in Dubai 2008

Gulf News article today (04 March 2008) says Dubai Municipality plans to add 113 hectares of greenery to Dubai this year.

6 exisiting public parks to be developed further
21 new neighbourhood parks
23 community facilities
4 pond parks (whatever that means)

Somehow that's supposed to add up to a total of 109 landscape and beautification projects worth AED 463 million in 2008

Further details of locations and when parks would be completed were not included in the report.

Mirdif Park saw a 10 million dh date palm tree site launched with 15,000 square meters, including childrens areas and a 325 meter jogging track.
