RTA announced that phase III will be open to traffic from tomorrow, 07 March 2008. The numbering seems off though. I thought it was
Phase I: Dubai Outlet Mall / Al Ruwayyah interchange to Labab Road interchange (road from Jebel Ali to Lahbab / Hibab)
Phase II: Sharjah Border to Al Ruwiyah (existing but being expanded)
Phase III: Labab Road to Abu Dhabi border (still under construction)
But apparently it's (based on 07 March 2008 information)
Phase II: Sharjah Border to Al Ruweyah
Phase III: Dubai Outlet Mall / Al Ruwiya interchange to Libab Road interchange (road from Jebel Ali to Labhab / Hebab)
Phase IV: Labab Road to Abu Dhabi border
So where did phase I go
? And does anyone really care?
