Al Yasmina School - Dubai FAQs information

AlYasmina School is a new K-12 school opening in Al Raha Gardens, and is presumably the Al Raha Gardens School that was previously mentioned as one of Aldar Academies new schools (they plan to build 20 schools by 2012 - so far they've built 2).

Initially to Year 8 or 9 (both seen on school website), and adding a grade each year to end up at Year 13 (equivalent to what many regard as grade 12). Curriculum is UK National Curriculum but students of all nationalities are welcomed.

The principal, Bob Malone, was previously at Sharjah English College (secondary) / Sharjah English School (primary) which has a good reputation in the expat community in Sharjah, and Cambridge High School in Dubai.

Questions:

Teacher salary package and conditions? Presumably it should be reasonable, based on the level of fees charged.
Number of students starting in September 2008?
Any comments about school from/for teachers, students, parents?
Please use the forum for questions, not the PM system.
