Newsletter to parents dated 24 August 2008 says that the new class of Year 9 students (Klasse 9) will do the the Deutschen Internationalen Abiturprüfung (DIAP) in academic year 2011-2012. DIAP is a German international qualification of some sort? Presumably in the Sharjah school only?

What are the qualifications offered?
What is the teacher pay scale (estimate based on school fees is about 5000-8000 dhs per month)?
What is included in the teacher salary package?
DSS has been given a plot of land near (or in?) Sharjah University City. Any time frame regarding building new premises there?
Any comments from students / parents /teachers about studying or teaching at the German school in Sharjah?
