What happened to school plans to offer IB? Press release in September 2005 said:

Royal Dubai School will teach its students the National Curriculum of England from Foundation Stage 1 (KG 1) through to Year 6, and plans to offer the International Baccalaureate Programme.

But Royal Dubai School website now says:

The school will run the GCSE and A Level curriculum as it grows into National Curriculum Key Stage 4 and 5.

How many students?

The GEMS Royal Dubai School is apparently closing the secondary school section from June 2010. It was uneconomical to continue with the high school according to reports today (29 October 2009). Students can transfer to Jumeirah College or Wellington International School (both GEMS schools) apparently.
