BSAK has a scheme where staff can complete a Masters Program in Education from the Liverpool Hope University.
Penta International completed an inspection of BSAK in March 2008. A couple of excerpts from the report:
The British School, Al Khubairat is a very good school with many outstanding features. At the time of the last inspection, the school was judged to be very effective: it has continued to grow and to flourish. The quality of education provided is very high.
Academic standards are high. Students attain levels above or well above government schools in England; standards also compare favourably with those of the independent sector in the UK.
The school is strongly supported by parents. Over 300 parents returned questionnaires to the inspection team: over 90% of responses were positive. Where there were issues identified, they were about the standards achieved by students in certain subjects, about the amount of homework given, and about the range of extra-curricular activities offered.

Questions:
When was BSAK founded? January 1968 seen as one date, but BSAK website says established by Amiri decree in 1971. School had its 40th anniversary celebrations in March 2008? So in Abu Dhabi, 1971 + 40 = 2008? Must be a timezone thing
How many teachers?
What is teacher salary scale and benefits package? Previous information was AED 12k-18k per month but not sure how correct that was.
