BITS Pilani made the news (sort of - it was 7 Days) with some blogging adventures, in apparently "yet another case"
? How many have there been? Report was dated 08 September 2007. 7 Days seems to be on the side of the students, but the blog (blazefanthom.blogspot.com) looks like whining drivel from one or more students who haven't realised there are more adjectives in the English language than the ones used in bathrooms. Apparently they also haven't yet learnt that criticism loses impact the more you huff and puff and throw your toys out of your cot. Still, they might become politicians or lawyers one day 
...In yet another case of a school administration trying to ban student blogging, three engineering students at a campus in Knowledge Village in Dubai have been suspended indefinitely, raising questions about freedom of speech and expression. A notice on one of the boards at the ‘Birla Institute of Technology and Science – Pilani’ campus in Dubai lists the names of three suspended students.
