careerjet.ae (or careerjet.com) is a website that says "Careerjet is an employment search engine. In just one search access 14.315.710 jobs published on 62.348 websites in the world." And they have 66,105 UAE jobs apparently. So it's not specific to the UAE then? Appears to be free for job-seekers (I didn't see any obvious charges on their website), while job advertisers pay $0.05 per click on one of their ads. The model is that recruitment agencies send their website to careerjet who then scan and pick up all the jobs and repost them on the careerjet website. A one-stop job shop then. Good idea perhaps - a Google for jobs?
Clicking on a random handful of job titles took me to mostly either more job listing pages, or pages cluttered with advertisements. Only one or two got me to the job listing I was looking for. Now admittedly I didn't do a comprehensive survey, but I'm a very impatient web surfer. If I don't find what I'm looking for easily and clearly, I tend to fairly quickly go somewhere else.
Has anyone used Career Jet? Found a job through the website? What's your opinion? See also UAE recruitment agencies and Jobs in Dubai for more about working in the UAE.
